Data import from ECAD
Following the generation of the circuit diagram in the ECAD system, the construction parts and connection lists are exported and processed further as follows:
- Download of the parts lists in HarnessExpert
- Placing of the component parts in HarnessExpert: at the same time, a ‘to do’ list is generated which the designer processes
- Download of connection lists: HarnessExpert combines the construction parts automatically with the individual wires
- Automatic routing of the wires into the wire harness paths
